Our hammer tips for Komptech Shredders are made of 42CRMO, which is hot-forged and heat-treated to greatly increase the wear resistance of the hammer tips. The heat-treated hardness is 38-42hrc, which can increase the impact resistance while ensuring the effective hardness.
We can also customize your hammers according to customer needs using carbide surfacing or brazing carbide deposits to improve their wear resistance

1. Tungsten carbide particles: The broken raw material tungsten carbide with double-grain structure has high wear resistance, and we only use the highest grade tungsten carbide as the raw material of the knife tip.

3. Hard surface: CR-W has excellent wear resistance and impact resistance. We use special CR-W or chrome to make a wear-resistant welding layer on the tool surface, and the hardness can reach 55hrc-60hrc.
